Breadth
Well, I think that this trimester I have been pleasantly surprised with what I've done. I have a good start to a balanced portfolio. I'm only missing some paintings... problem is that the college that I wants requires 10 observation DRAWINGS! Not just pencil, but it hampers the process on my breadth. But I'm going to focus on what the college wants because I feel that it's more important. I am excited to see everyone kind of starting to do their own thing, and it's cool because their own unique styles are showing through their pieces. Good Work All!

I think it's great that you have decided to focus on what your art school wants because that is what's important to you. in my opinion i don't think you will have trouble deciding on a concentration topic because it's apparent that you are developing great themes in your art! nice job =]
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with you about how peoples own styles are coming through in their pieces. This year has been very good for you as far as I am concerned!! I love the piece with the One Tree on the hill and the city surrounding it! I think it is very colorful, and the blending you did to make the tree look in front of the water, even though I am pretty sure you did the tree first!
